To participate, you need to hold governance tokens. You can vote directly on proposals, delegate your voting power to trusted community members, or create your own proposals. All governance activities happen on-chain for full transparency.

Delegation allows you to assign your voting power to experienced community members who actively participate in governance. You retain ownership of your tokens while the delegate votes on your behalf. You can change or revoke delegation at any time.

Proposals go through several stages: discussion in the forum, formal proposal submission, voting period, and execution if passed. Each proposal requires a minimum threshold of support and must meet quorum requirements to be valid.

Proposals can cover protocol upgrades, treasury allocations, parameter changes, partnership agreements, and community initiatives. All proposals must align with the protocol's goals and undergo community review before voting.

Voting power is typically based on the number of governance tokens you hold at the time of proposal snapshot. Some protocols may use additional factors like staking duration or delegation history to determine voting weight.

Non-participation doesn't affect proposal outcomes directly, but it reduces overall engagement. Consider delegating your tokens to active community members if you cannot participate regularly to ensure your voice is still represented.
